The five red star Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa - a member of The Leading Hotels of the World - borders the world of golf's most famous par four, the 17th 'Road Hole' on the Old Course in St Andrews, the Home of Golf.
The resort, by its name, comprises the iconic hotel, its own Championship golf course and club as well as the only Kohler Waters Spa outside the USA. As The Open returns to St Andrews this summer (July 2015), the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa is extremely proud to hold the title of 'Scotland's Best Golf Hotel', awarded at the 2014 World Golf Awards.

SPA
Kohler Waters Spa at the Old Course Hotel
It is the only Kohler Waters Spa experience outside the USA. A member of the prestigious 'Leading Spas', it was also voted 'Best Hotel Spa' in the 2012 Good Spa Awards. Guests and members can experience the therapeutic benefits of water through a wide range of treatments including bathing, hydrotherapy, facials, body treatments, massage, manicures and pedicures. The spa is complete with its own indoor pool, thermal suite with a hydrotherapy pool, sauna and Japanese steam room, and a luxurious outdoor hot tub. Golf-themed treatments and therapies are also available including the Golfer's Massage (designed to ease tension and increase flexibility) and the Golfer's Feet Renewal (restoring feet after an exhilarating day of golf). The Spa also has a well-equipped gym and the instructors and personal trainers run a series of classes including Aqua Fit, Boxercise, Circuits, Kettle Tone and Zumba.

GOLF

Set in a spectacular location above St Andrews, the resort's own championship Duke's Golf Course boasts panoramic views over the town and surrounding countryside to the sea. The Duke's underwent a complete transformation, reopening in 2006 following substantial changes made by American golf course architect, Tim Liddy, protégé of Pete Dye. Positioned by Golf World in the UK's 'Top 100', it is highly regarded as one of the finest heathland championship courses in the UK and was chosen to host the prestigious 2014 International European Amateur Championship. It is Scotland's longest golf course yet, with each hole offering five separate tee positions, it appeals to golfers at every level.

The Duke's has its own Academy with professionals Ayden Robert-Jones and Alan Martin. It is one of the most comprehensive golf teaching services available with lesson and course types suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced players. First-class facilities include a driving range, putting green and a chipping and bunker area.

The resort works very closely with the St Andrews Links Trust - and is able to make reservations for golfers on courses in St Andrews as well as those wishing to travel and experience courses further afield.
